YTL Corporation is a 50% shareholder in Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd, the 60-year concessionaire, owning and operating the high-speed rail link from the center of Kuala Lumpur to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The high-speed rail service, with a travelling time of 28 minutes to cover the 57km journey, currently transports around 4.5 million passengers per annum.

Built at RM35 million per km, it is one of the cheapest high-speed rail links ever built (HK's Airport Express needed RM 450 million per km; London's Heathrow Express needed RM157million - according to a research report published by the Investment Bank ABN AMRO).
